Instructions
1. Prepare the ribs
Pat the ribs dry with paper towels.

2. Make the sticky sauce
In a bowl, mix together:
honey
soy sauce
hoisin sauce
brown sugar
rice vinegar
sesame oil
ginger
garlic
red pepper flakes
Stir until the sugar dissolves.
3. Marinate
Place ribs in a large bowl or zip bag.
Pour half of the sauce over the ribs (keep the other half for cooking).
Marinate at least 1 hour, or overnight for stronger flavor.
4. Cook the ribs (choose your method)
🔥 Oven Method (best for sticky glaze)
Preheat oven to 150°C / 300°F.
Arrange ribs on a baking tray lined with foil.
Cover tightly with foil.
Bake 2 hours until tender.
Remove foil, brush with remaining sauce.
Increase temperature to 200°C / 400°F and bake 10–15 minutes until sticky and caramelized.
🔥 Air Fryer Method
Air fry ribs at 180°C / 360°F for 20–25 minutes, turning halfway.
Brush with sauce and air fry 5 extra minutes to caramelize.
🔥 Stovetop + Broil
Simmer ribs in a pan with a little water for 45–60 minutes until soft.
Place on a tray, brush with sauce, and broil/grill for 5–8 minutes.
✨ Tips for Extra Flavor
Add 1 tsp smoked paprika for a BBQ taste.
Finish with sesame seeds + chopped green onions.
Reduce leftover sauce in a pan for a thicker glaze.
