Dirty Rice with Ground Beef

Ingredients:1 lb ground beef1 small onion, diced1 green bell pepper, diced2 celery stalks, diced3 cloves garlic, minced1 ½ cups long grain white rice3 cups beef broth (or water)1 tsp paprika1 tsp dried oregano1 tsp dried thyme½ tsp cayenne pepper (optional for spice)Salt and black pepper to taste2 tbsp oil or butterGreen onions for garnish (optional)Instructions:In a large skillet, heat oil over medium heat.Add ground beef and cook until browned. Drain excess grease if needed.Stir in diced onion, bell pepper, celery, and garlic. Cook until veggies are softened, about 5 minutes.Add rice, paprika, oregano, thyme, cayenne, salt, and pepper. Stir well to coat everything.Pour in beef broth. Bring to a boil.Reduce heat to low, cover, and simmer for 18–20 minutes, or until rice is cooked and liquid is absorbed.Fluff with a fork. Garnish with chopped green onions if you like.Note:Feel free to spice it up! 🌶️ Add sausage, chicken livers, or extra cayenne if you like it more traditional and bold.
