Oreo Stuffed Cinnamon Rolls
Ingredients:
- 1 can of refrigerated cinnamon roll dough (8 rolls)
- 12 Oreo cookies (or more, depending on preference)
- 4 oz cream cheese (softened)
- 2 tbsp butter (melted)
- 1/2 cup powdered sugar
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
Instructions:
- Prepare the Oreo Filling:
- Place the Oreo cookies in a food processor or use a plastic bag and a rolling pin to crush them into fine crumbs.
- Roll Out the Dough:
- Unroll the cinnamon roll dough and separate it into individual pieces. You should have 8 rolls in total.
- Stuff the Rolls:
- Take each individual cinnamon roll and gently flatten it with your hands or a rolling pin to create a slightly larger rectangle.
- Sprinkle a generous amount of crushed Oreo crumbs in the center of each flattened dough piece.
- Roll the dough back up to encase the Oreo crumbs inside.
- Place in Baking Dish:
- Arrange the stuffed rolls in a greased 9×9-inch baking dish, ensuring they’re placed close together.
- Make the Cream Cheese Glaze:
- In a bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, melted butter, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract. Stir until smooth.
- Bake:
- Bake the rolls according to the cinnamon roll package instructions, usually at 375°F (190°C) for about 20-25 minutes or until golden brown.
- Top with Glaze:
- Once the cinnamon rolls are done, remove them from the oven and allow them to cool for a few minutes. Then drizzle the cream cheese glaze over the top.
- Serve and Enjoy:
- Serve the Oreo-stuffed cinnamon rolls warm and enjoy the delicious combination of cinnamon, chocolate, and cream!
